Story=

I am truly amazed at how well the book was followed. I must have read the books a dozen times, so I knew the story very well. Normally, a movie completely demolishes the storyline of the is the first time that the movie acts as an enhancement to the book. No shortcuts taken, no punches pulled. Every movie that I have ever seen that was originally a novel, I read prior to seeing the movie. For the most part, this disappoints me a great deal, but not in this case. Never a movie was made this beautiful! It is the illustrated on screen version verbatim of the beautiful epic of J.R.R. Tolkien. This movie raises the bar way up there for anyone who is thinking of making a movie in the future. Given that this movie IS an adaptation gives it more credit! You wish you haven't read the book when watching it (but your still amazed) if you did not you certainly will want to! That is how good this movie is!
